Food, Fabric and Forestry Week 2012

With graduation and summer vacation quickly approaching, why not take time out of your busy schedule to spend time with friends (and make new ones)? The Davis College’s annual Food, Fabric and Forestry Week returns April 9-13! It features a number of events where clubs and organizations earn points for participation. The club or organization with the most points at the end of the week will win the Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy. Below is the schedule of events:

  • Photo Scavenger Hunt
    Mon., April 9
    6 p.m., Agricultural Sciences Lobby

    Bring a camera and some friends and search for items. Winning group wins points towards the Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy.
  • Jack and Jill Softball Game
    Tues., April 10
    6 p.m., Intramural Fields

    Bring a bat, glove and some friends. Group with most participants is awarded points toward Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy. No need to bring an entire team, just come out and have fun!
  • Chili Cook-off
    Wed., April 11
    5-8 p.m., Agricultural Sciences Annex

    Bring your best recipe! Contact wvusda@gmail.com for more information and to sign up. Only eight teams can compete, so get your name in ASAP. Winners earn points toward the Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy!
  • Ag. Olympics
    Thurs., April 12
    5 p.m., Animal Sciences Farm (Stewartstown Road)

    Come play Cornhole, Hillbilly Golf, and Ultimate Frisbee. Group with most participants gets points toward the Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy.
  • Movie Night at the Farm
    Fri., April 13
    8 p.m., Animal Sciences Farm (Stewartstown Road)

    Come watch 8 Seconds and the awarding of the Food, Fabric and Forestry Trophy
