Reporting for WBOY, Stacy Moniot updates viewers on The House that WVU Built, a project created by students in the Davis College’s Division of Design & Merchandising:
Students at West Virginia University are working on a project with Habitat for Humanity to give a family in need a new home.
The idea came from students in Design and Merchandising, but it’s grown to include many other majors, including students in public relations.
“It’s just about bringing the WVU community together to do something and reach out to a family in need and make their life better,” said Andria Alvarez, one of the public relations majors working on the project.
