WBOY’s Stacy Moniot explores WVU’s “Summer of Sustainability”:
Through the Adventure West Virginia program, incoming freshmen take on challenges like climbing rock climbing, and at the same time learn to love and take care of West Virginia’s natural treasures.
“Our goal is to educate all students on how to be sustainable on campus, in their life,” said Greg Corio, the program’s director, “and also have them connect with the natural environment so they can care about these places that they go to and see in West Virginia and have a respect for them.”
