Students at West Virginia University can celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day this Thursday (April 22) by listening to acoustic performances from local musicians from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the Mountainlair Green.
The WVU Young Democrats, WELL WVU, the WVU Office of Sustainability and the WVU recycling program have teamed up to promote environmental awareness and sustainability on campus. A number of student organizations from the Davis College will be on hand to educate attendees about environmental issues.
