May 6th, 2009
The West Virginia FFA Association and West Virginia University’s chapter of Collegiate FFA are holding the third annual WV FFA Foundation Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 18, at the Preston Country Club in Kingwood, WV. The Collegiate FFA would like to invite any interested party to form a team or become a sponsor. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law since the WV FFA Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.
Each contribution to the WV FFA Foundation generates interest income which is used for scholarships, state officer expenses, and member awards. The FFA organization is devoted to developing premier leadership, personal growth, and career success in the lives of its members. Last year’s tournament raised over $3,500 for the FFA Foundation Officer Fund with more than 70 people in attendance. Please take a moment to read over the attached brochure for information on forming a team or becoming a sponsor. Further questions can be directed to Brian Clagg, Collegiate FFA President, or Tom Brand.
