April 16th, 2009
Can you identify the common problems that make your home energy inefficient? Would you like to learn how to save money and cut down on greenhouse gas emissions? Come to one of two Home Energy Audit Demonstration sponsored by the West Virginia University Davis College and WVU’s Office of Sustainability.
The demonstrations will be offered from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at 848 Riverview Ave., behind WVU’s Evansdale Residential Complex in Morgantown. The demonstrations are free and open to the public.
Chris Haddox, visiting assistant professor of design studies in the Davis College’s Division of Design and Merchandising, will lead the sessions. Haddox will offer tips on do-it-yourself home improvements that can cut energy costs.
The demonstrations are offered as a part of WVU’s observation of Earth Week. For more information on the week, visit http://wecan.wvu.edu/earthweek2009. For more information on the demonstrations, contact Haddox at 304-293-3657.
