David | March 24th, 2009

West Virginia University’s chapters of the Wildlife Society and the American Fisheries Society invite you to their annual Wild Game Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the MeadWestvaco Natural Resources Center in the West Virginia University Research Forest.

Come and enjoy delicious wild game dishes, raffles, and musical entertainment from the Falling Run Bluegrass Band. Proceeds will support the Wildlife Society and American Fisheries Society.

The evening will feature a drawing for a Knight KP7 muzzleloader and several fly-fishing rods. You need not be present to win the muzzleloader, and presale raffle tickets are available. Many other door prizes and raffle items, including a New River rafting trip and Snowshoe Resort golf outings, will be awarded during the dinner.

Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets for children 12 and under are available for a suggested donation of $6.

You can buy dinner and raffle tickets from any Wildlife Society or American Fisheries Society member, in the Division of Forestry and Natural Resources office in Percival Hall, or in 1018 Agricultural Sciences Building. You can also call (304)324-5073 for dinner reservations.
