Leeds to speak on lamb production

Dr. Timothy Leeds, a research geneticist with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service at the National Center for Cool and Cold Water Aquaculture in Leetown, W.Va., will present a special seminar at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, in G029 Agricultural Sciences Building.
Dr. Leeds will examine the question, “Can we improve market lamb production using live-animal ultrasound measures?” The seminar is sponsored by the Davis-Michael Scholars Program and the faculty of WVU’s program in Reproductive Physiology.
