Economist to speak on Farm Bill

Donald J. Lacombe, associate professor of economics at Ohio University, will lead the next Regional Research Institute Seminar from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Rhododendron Room of the Mountainlair. The title of his talk is “The Dual Spatial Autoregressive Probit Model with an Application to the 2001 Congressional Farm Bill.” There will be a light buffet lunch at noon with the presentation to follow. This RRI seminar is co-sponsored by the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics and the Department of Economics.
