Workshop will demystify brewing Feb. 28

Tired of paying for beer? Learn how to brew your own in one of two 3.5-hour home brewing workshop sponsored by the WVU Horticulture Club. The sessions will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Plant and Soil Sciences Greenhouse on WVU’s Evansdale Campus. The workshops will be offered at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m.
The sessions will be conducted by Sven Verlinden, an associate professor of horticulture in the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Sciences. Verlinden is a native of Belgium and a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur.
Cost for participation is $15 and is payable in cash or check to the WVU Horticulture Club at the workshop. Space is limited, so please pre-register by e-mailing Vinny Rozette.
