Workshops emphasize produce, profits
Writing for The Morgan Messenger, David Abner previews two “upcoming free workshops will focus on growing produce locally and marketing locally grown products to people and businesses in the community.”
“The first workshop, titled New Producers, New Products, is being held Saturday, January 24 from 9 a.m. —3 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church on Mercer Street in Berkeley Springs. The workshop is designed for people who are now growing and selling their products, or for those who want to learn how to grow products for the market.
“The Garden Buddies Workshop is on Saturday, January 31 from 10 a.m. —noon at Warm Springs Middle School. This workshop is for people who want to learn how to garden and grow their own produce.”
The WVU Extension Service is co-sponsoring both events. Click here for the full article.
