Students to stage fashion show May 7

The latest season of Project Runway may already be a memory, but another group of young designers will take the runway in a fashion show at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the lobby of Percival Hall on West Virginia University?s Evansdale Campus.
Students in WVU?s Fashion Design and Merchandising program will stage the show, which features garments designed and developed during the academic year.
?This will be the first time that our design students will be showcasing the work they’ve done during the course of a year,? said Jennifer Cohen, a visiting assistant professor in the program. ?There will also be displays of visual work done by our students in classes sophomore level and above.?
