Writing for The Charleston Gazette, John McCoy looks at a study on bear hunting’s impact on West Virginia’s economy. The study was a collaboration between Chris Ryan, principal bear biologist in the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources and a Ph.D. student in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources at WVU, and Randy Childs of WVU’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research in the College of Business and Economics.
