DA profiles unique Davis College courses
Writing for The Daily Athenaeum, Alex Belfiori profiles some of WVU’s most unique courses, two of which just happen to be offered by the Davis College.
On Vines to Wines:
“Despite Vines to Wines having an age requirement of 21 because of alcohol, ‘It is the hardest class to get into, because it fills up within the first 30 minutes,’ said Carol Ann Funkhouser, a senior advertising major.”
WVU Photography was there for a recent tasting dinner held at the new Erickson Alumni Center.
Also featured in Belfiori’s article is the Davis College’s service dog training course:
“The dogs learn special commands like switching lights on and off, opening and closing doors and retrieving objects.
“The service dog training class uses golden retrievers for the course.”

What an interesting course! I wish more colleges would offer these kinds of courses.
